how many does all these cost to you??? what is the best carb between a 400ex carb and a 38mm cwr carb and a 40 mm cwr carb

 

Hey 'addict, I just put on the 400ex carb today- weather finally warm enough. pretty much a straight forward bolt on- and yes, I did need to tilt it slightly due to the angle of the throttle cable at the top of the carb. I didn't do any jetting, but the fact of the accelerator pump is evident and will definately add to the FUN factor- no more dead spot on the bottom. I also picked up a little bit on the top. This looks like some real possibilities with gearing chanes are possible, thank a million for the info, man!!

 

Great to hear. Glad you like it but you need to make sure your jetting is right. What are you using for a filter? a clamp on?

 

Yes-- I'm using the Uni pod filter. have a kit on the way from dyno- jet. I'm gonna go over to Honda today and get schematics for the carburetor. Thanks again.........

 

There is a place called quadpro and they sell TONS of used but very high qulity parts. I have gotten alot of parts from them and they have treated me right!
