Hose to airbox???

Default Hose to airbox???

I removed the stock air box today for my lakota sport and it went real well..... but there is a rubber hose coming out of the top of the cylinder head that connected to the bottom of the stock air box just infront of the carb. What should I do with that hose?

your four stroke engine has crank case presure to releive this it is vented they run this to air box to help with pulution i believe my yz 426 has it vented right out by the shifter if your worried about it go get a filter of some sort from auto parts store

I knew there was a crankcase vent but I didn't expect to find it on the head of the engine. Are you sure thats what im dealing with?

Default Hose to airbox???

go pop the hood of your car or truck your pvc valve will be on top of valve cover no difernt on 4 st quad 2st have breather comeing out of gear box since crank and trainie is separt compartments and 2st works off crankcase preasure to draw new fuel in old out
