Default Extra Lights on the 650P

Been here a while, but first post.

I was wondering if anyone had any good sugestions, and/or pictures, on putting extra lighting on a Prairie 650? I do some night riding and was wanting to get a better field of view. I know you can get the Warn light kit if you have the Warn bumper, but other than that? I was wanting to not spend an arm and a leg and wanting them to be fairly low profile. Got any ideas?

I got some small hella driving lights(or use some cheapies from wallyworld)and mounted them on the mirror mounts on the handlebars. To wire them I ran a wire from my high beam switch to a relay.very easy.....later

MUDBOGGER... thats an excellent idea for a mounting point... I personally mount a smallish 55 watt driving light on my helmet visor ( connected with a small wing nut ), & wired with a coiled power cord the the accessory plug...it takes 2 minutes to install, & is not in the way, the 99.5 % of the time I don't need it, plus is more versitile

txhitman01- not sure but is there a Cabela's by you? The other day I stopped in and they sell a pair of accessory lights for ATV's. They where 2 clear halogen units- I think 40 or 45 watts a piece and approx. $60. They looked okay, but not as low profile as I would like. They also had a set of PIAA lights (auto section) that were much smaller and brighter. I'm guessing 2 3/4 inches in depth. They were $79. Both kits had all relays, switches and wire. Can check them out on internet or a catalog. I have a P700 and the front bumper is different than a 650. The PIAA lights would fit under my brush guard and barely stick out- not sure how it would work for you.

You could always buy a RAM mount that would hold a flood light. That's what I'd do.
