Default P-650 shift linkage adjustment?

My 2003 P-650 kinda grinds the gears sometimes when I slip into high from neutral at idle.

Could someone give me the skinny on adjusting the shift linkage so that it will go in smoother?

Yup, just turn your idle down a little and you are good to go.

That's it hugh? I figured for sure I could adjust the mesh out of by turning the linkage in or out.

Thanks for the replies, I'll try the idle next time I ride.
