Vforce brakes
#1
Hi all. I just picked up my VForce, Polaris, and Suzuki for our family Christmas. I took each for a spin and noticed the brakes on the VForce do not seem as good as the other two. Can you guys with VForces' lock the rear wheels? How do your brakes feel?
Thanks

My V will stop on a dime. I am surpised at the brakes being able to stop 800 pounds as good as it does. There is a rear brake adjuster on top of the rear swingarm. If you can't lock the rear brakes, turn the wingnut a couple times.

made some adjustments and here are the results. turned each wing nut clockwise 6 full turns, 12 half turns. I kept count because the wingnut turns 1/2 revolution per adjustment.
this has resulted in the rear tires locking sometimes when using the foot pedal. so far when using the hand brake for the rear i have had not rear wheel lock. if i use both at the same time i can get it to lock pretty much on demand. has this been what you guys have experienced?
may adjust a bit further, but i am suprised the dealer would let the bike out the door like that and/or the factory has the brakes so loose like someone else mentioned.
