Default simple air box mods ?? for the v-700

ok i seen all the talk on all the different air box mods and was wondering if the simplest and best thing todo is buy the dg snorkel kit, ifso i am still left the rejetting of my v.
i have already installed yoshi duals and the dalton clutch and pulley kits. i rejeted then but without any air box mods i know i am loosing the potential of getting all the horses from the motor.
i donot wont to loose the trail ridding stability of the v, i hope the dg snorkel will not suck water in to the carbs ??????
any comments are greatley welcome.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ThunderProducts.com makes what they call an TPI Valve, (two fit perfect on the Prairie700) You mount to the top of your lid and can open and close, without changing the jet settings. I run in all kinds of weather and just dont feel safe without a lid. There is a little differance in power between open and close but when its super muddy or raining its nice to close the lids and ride without any worries.

have just put on the DG snorkle with NO re-jetting required, have the HMF duals with bigger jets. also ridden in rain, mud etc. NO probs.

THANKS TRAILBLAZER AND MARLAND

I AM THINKING OF TRYING BOTH THE THE DG SNORKEL AND THE TPI VENTS.

IS THERE ANY PERFECT SPOTS TO PUT THE VENTS IN AND HOW MANY ARE RECOMENDED

I AM ALSO CONSIDERING THE CARBON FRONT HOOD PIECE.
