I was wondering how many 650 owners have had transmission problems with low range. Maybe if there are enough kawie will have a recall.
thanks

I have a 03 650 that low range pops out. It is at the dealer and I am having trouble getting it fixed. I have the extended warr. My front motor mount is egg shaped and keeps coming loose. My dealer tightened up the bolt and
is trying to charge me for It. I am going to contact kawasaki monday.

Mine makes a terrible noise in low. It slips in and out at 10+mph in 4wd and 2wd. Adjusting the shift linkage did help some.

Are you talking about the lower part of the engine where the dog gears are or are you talking abou the cluch? Sorry guys but I have 20000km on my 02 650 no trans problems only clutch slipping issues. Mine jumped out of gear twice in it's life both when I was in low at higher rpm. I think your gear adjustment has to be looked at. My dealer grinded a little more around the edges on my low range spot.... I'm wondering if this is what you need to do. Cue: it takes a long time to adjust the adjuster... I found you adjust it, ride it, adjust it, ride it etc.. soon you would get it. and cue is your engine brake bearing good cause that will make a racket at 10mph in low.

I have a P360 that is 1 year old. It is a 03 model and it messes up actuators of something like that really bad. Any other owners have this problem?
