wow...look on the last page of october atv rider..this is what it says about the v-force We stated in our April 2003 story on Kawasaski's KFX700 V Force: "The KFX wants to wheelie everywhere and not slide around corners"; we went on to say that we couldn't wait to get it home to our drier climate. Well, as we found out, in Southern California it STILL wheelies everwhere--only now it slides at the same time and, in this case, can head right off the trail." hmmm..

A couple of things about the KFX700 in the Sand. It will go anywhere (With Paddles). I also have a Piped & Filtered KFX400, that gets me up any hill I want to go up. However, the V will do it easier and will have more speed at the top than my 400 will. One of the things that I like to do, is get right to the base of a Big Dune and take off from there (None of that Candy A** Running Start Crap), or even go part way up it and try it from there. It makes it every time. In the Sand, the torque of the V along with a good set of paddles, translates into a killer hill climber. Coming back down, now that's another story.
Another plus of the BIG V is that anyone can ride it. When we go out to the Dunes, I will let people that have very little or No experience on a Quad ride it, and after a short lesson and a little seat time they look like seasoned riders.
A long time ago, I made the statement that the KFX700 is a "Fat Ballerina that doesn't know that she isn't supposed to be able to dance on her toes." and now that more people have had an opportunity to throw a leg over the Big Gal (V), more and more people are finding out what I meant by it. All of the rhetoric and lack of true knowledge/experience with riding the KFX700 has hurt the reputation of the 700. Not everyone, but most who ride it, Love it, even if they won't admit it to their buddies.
The YFZ450 is the Hottest Quad available, but it, just like the V has it's purpose and it's nitch. Is it a better quad? In many respects, yes. Is it the best quad for everyone? No. The funny thing about the KFX700, is that generally, the people that complain about the weight, or the auto trany and how you are not a Man unless you shift, are usually the ones that have never ridden one. When we are at the Dunes, I constantly have people coming up to me and asking me how the 700 does in the sand (When my Wife lets me ride it.). I usually tell them to take it for a ride and see what they think for themselves. So far I have only had one guy take me up on it and he rides a Nasty Modded YFZ450. By the way he liked it. I guess most manual shift guys are afraid that their testosterone will drop a few points if they ride an auto quad.
Just on a side note, the last time I was at the Dunes, there were two brothers on Camo P700's with get this, Paddles on all 4 corners. They said that they don't steer for SH*T, but they climb like a Bat Outa H*ll. It was cracking me up, but they were right.

The only thing I can say to this is that there is this little thing on the right side of the handlebars that will prevent you from Wheelieing or Sliding too much. It's called a THUMB THROTTLE LEVER. If you don't know how to use it, look it up in the manual, they explain it in there.

I think this is all funny! Rob do you write for the mag because you are acting like it!

Do you own the V ?
So all you are going on is what the mag said! Let 's think about this for a minute!
The editors either hire someone to ride the machine and get there views or they ride the machines themselves and give there views.
Do you know how either the editor ride? or the guy they hired to ride the thing rides? Probaly not!
Remember these views are purely their views!!!
So I hope then what they write and say you don't take as gosple! If you do than bubba get your head out of your _ _ _ you cant expect them to determin what is the best quad or item for you.
Think of it like this what you might think is perfect suspension settings on your to be z400 might be crap to them, and then the next thing you know they write it up as crap and now you as the reader have to belive what they say? Rember they are just opinions! you got to get out there and try things for yourself.
Reguarding wheelies everywhere Hummmmmmm. Awsome!!!!!!! GOT POWER???????????? Oh yeha it does.
So maybe you might just try laughing at your buddy for looping out his ride "hopefully he is ok" and give him a hard time for not knowing when to get up on the tank! or for that mater maybe he thought he was hill master and he new that he might flip it out but he was gona use the JETI 'Starwars" Trick to keep the thing from flipping over or maybe the hill was just plain to dain big!!! what ever the case I think
it all falls on rider experence not the bike /quad .
Do you think that when one of those pumped up extended cr500 motorcycles go to climb the widowmaker and they flip there bike over that the thing is not a good bike.Hummmmmmmmmmm
Anyway I am not bashing you. I think that you got a quad, you got your opinion and thats cool.

lol..sn0w is soft you moron, no i do not own a v-force and never will. V-Forces aka V-Floor has to much power for itself. I'd rather go with a yfz, they are basicly the best quad on the market right now, go find the atv rider october and look on the last page, its a big picture of a rider testing out the v-force, on the top it says REJECTED and there is picx of tons of riders falling. and no i do not work for them you moron, i just read it..

Ok Dude I really feel sorry for you. You probaly live in the sticks, doesnt know anything other than what he or she reads. You probally think Chevs are the best thing in the world and dont know why. Sad really sad! Hey one day when you grow up maybe you can afford a quad all on you own? and not rely on daddy to give you one!
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Hey Wiley (neighbor), PM me (i have not used that yet, But i am sure it is easy), you could try mine on some trails down the street. I have let my camping buds ride my bike and they all love it.....one guy is going to convince his wife he needs one. I just have to pull out the trailer (easy) and back it out. You will love it too!
