I didn't mean to start a pissing contest between 2 bikes.
You like your bike and I like mine.
I have nothing against the v. You see it one way I see it another.
As long as we all have fun riding thats the bottom line.

I don't get mad over silly SH*T like this, just having fun and getting a little dialog going. I don't need anyones approval over my choice of which Quad to purchase. Just interested in figuring out other peoples thought prosses on why they say the things they do.

How would the V work for a 40 something old guy who now rides a Vinson? Is it rough riding? And how easy to ride up steep hills, bumps. ruts, etc. Don't intend to race, but would like something a bit sportier. Have ridden my brother's z400. Great bike, but I always feel a little uneasy-almost feels too light and small. sometimes I just like to putt around the forest trails, but I do have a need for speed also. Just like to feel comffortable and safe anymore. Don't heal well anymore. Thanks you guys!!

I want a quad that has enough power to pull me up some hills. but if my Mojave can pull me up the hills I know that either of these quads will pull me up the hills. I want a quad that has power, speed, and accel. and has alot of aftermarket parts for it. I really like the KFX 400. Thanks to all who replied.

There is one other thing that you need to consider. I don't know what the area you ride in is like, but here is what I can tell you about the area I ride in. It is pretty rutted up, and the only quads that don't have troubles are the Shaft Driven quads. All of the quads that are Chain Driven have a real disadvantage in the area of Ground Clearance. If the area that you ride in doesn't get rutted, then the Chain Driven KFX400 will get you anywhere you want to go. However, if your riding area is rutted or has a lot of deep muddy spots, Ground Clearance is going to be your best friend and the advantage goes to the KFX700.
Good luck with your choice.

You prove a good point. There is a family woods behind my house and my cousin on his dirt bike creates ruts everywhere. I think I may get the V because I've been doing some thinking, and I want the V because all the power it has to offer, and it's auto so I'll be faster in the woods, and I like the fact that it's a wheelie machine.Do you think this is a good decision??

I own both, but the bottom line is that if you want the one that has the most power, can climb the biggest hills, will go just about anywhere and has the greatest potential for being modified, your best choice is the V. Granted, the KFX400 is a very capable quad, but the V just does everything better and with more grunt.

Just get a KFX400, becuz its cheaper and you can mod alot more and make it as good as the v-force with the money you would have saved, it also looks nicer too
