V Front Bumper
#1
Does anyone know if there is a "better" aftermarket front bumper for the V that used a different mounting method. I think the stock design with the two ears on each side of the frame are worthless. If so where from and what's your opinion on the product. Thanks, Mudfoot.

I have the AC front bumper also (technically an IMS bumper but AC makes them for IMS). It's VERY sturdy in the way it mounts to the bike and it looks great too. I took a very clear closeup picture of the bumper showing how it mounts to the bike if you want me to e-mail it to you (will be posting pictures here soon but untill then.... mncreid@epix.net ).

Hey Mudfoot,
I know this is off the topic, but I have two questions.
1) What are the wheel spacers for? I have them (highlifters) on all 4's on my prairie for better stability with the lift kit I added, and to help stay out of the ruts that all the other 4X4 leave behind (wider stance). I am a rookie with sport quads and just curious what they do for your V-Force?
2) Man that is one sweet V-Force you have there. This may not be an appropriate question, but how much do you have in that thing? I know I have close to 2K in aftermarket products on my prairie, and I was just curious to how much I was gonna HAVE to spend on my new V-Force to get it up to speed...LOL. Thanks
Oh on the Bumper question, I had the same question posted, and it looks like the overall conclusion was to go with the IMS front bumper. Looks like the best one for looks and performance!

Mudfoot,
AC racing is the best.
You have to take off the black radiator scoop and the top bars come back just below the green plastic.
It is more a frame extension than a bumper.
Big, strong and looks better than anything else.
