Default P650 Air filter recall

Is this a new thing, or have they been sending them out for a while?
I got my recall notice in the mail, yesterday. Should I take it in to the dealer, or just get a twinair?

What did the recall notice say about the air filter?

It said the air filter might separate at the mating surface,, where the filter is glued together, for models KVF650-A2, andB2 units, also.

Order you a Twin Air but go ahead and get a new stock filter from your dealer for free and use it for a backup. Twin Air is a much better filter than stock. Freer flow and better filtration.
