It seems as we have started quite the comotion (sp?) over at Duncan Racing regarding the release of the CDI today. Now I have been told March at the earliest and that is still not definate according to Richard at Vortex. At least the nice lady at DR was able to confirm who gave the bogus info to us and will take care of that at their end. I am sorry that I was given bogus info and in-turn got myself and others on this board psyched up for the release of the CDI today. Maybe in March?????? Yeahhhhh Righttttttttttt!!

I ALSO TALKED WITH DUNCAN TO DAY AND THEY TOLD ME THEY DONOT HAVE A RELEASE DATE AT ALL.
I TOLD HIM WHAT I HAVE ALREADY DONE TO MY BIKE AND HE TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE WORKING ON A NEW CLUTCH AND REAR END PACKAGE SO YOU COULD GET MORE SPEED FROM THE V-700, HE SAID THE VORTEX WOULD CHANGE THE TYPE OF PERFORMANCE I WOULD GET FROM THE MACHINE BUT WOULD NOT HELP MUCH ON TOP END SPEED UNTIL THEY GET THE OTHER PACKAGES WORKED OUT.

I HOPE THIS HELPS OUT EVERYONE, SOUNDS TO ME THAT WE CAN KEEP DUMPING MONEY TO MAKE THE MOTOR RUN BETTER BUT WE STILL CANT GET THE PERFORMANCE TO THE GROUND.

Reply from Procom when asked about a CDI for the P700 -
"I am sorry, however the CDI Box for that bike has not been released yet. It
is in the final testing mode at our manufacturers. Please keep checking in
with us because it will be released soon. Thank you."

This has been said by everybody for over two years now. I wish Kawasaki would just release a re-programmed version and be done with it already.
