I have a 92 mojave and im upgrading the cams, removed rev limiter, supertrapp pipe, k&n clamp on filter. I have a 38mm pe carb, but i think i'm going to use a 400ex carb, or maybe 36mm mikuni from cwr. What carb would be the best for the mojave, and if i used the 400ex carb, could i buy a jet kit for the 400ex to jet the carb on the mojave with my upgrades.

 

Now that will be a tricky task!

 

Yes, you just use a jet kit for a 400ex, but you should buy a big kit, cause you will have to try several sizes to get just the right one, The cam manufacturer should be able to get you close if you tell him you have a 35.5 mm carb with accelerater pump. Hope this helps.

will a kn clamp on filter made for the mojave, fit on the 400ex carb. i know the 400ex carb is 1.5mm larger than the mojaves.
