Stop by Highlifter forum and get in touch with the guys that ride Crosby. Rode there once and every other quad had a stereo setup. Saw one with a custom speaker box with neon lights and his snorkels inside it. One guy told me if one of his speakers quit working then he considered his quad broke and would go home. LOL Can't see putting one on mine, but if you want advice, they are into it.

I listen to tunes a lot when I ride.I have went through many headphones & small tuners. Most boomboxes won't work off 12 volt DC.Only one I know of is C. Crain Company. It's not digital so I haven't bought one.You could add a small inverter.I've considered this.UPS truck drivers put stereo's in plastic tool boxes.Car stereos, with speakers.Thats a good idea. I just want a good digital boombox that works on DC.Anyone know of one? Some one should market a boom box for atv's. Brushog

There's a real simple solution. I mean, I did the whole rack system thing, but it was sloppy looking. I had terminal ends on a wire to the battery so I could plug and unplug, and a portable jump charger for the quad if it were off and blasting. (but you can pull start a dead Prarie) Then I found the Miwaukee Jobsite Radio. It's made by Milwaukee (big name in power tools) and Rockford Fosgate (if you know stereos, you know the name). It's durable. And though it has 2 5-1/2" speakers, it gets plenty loud enough to drown out a quad. It has a jack for a portable cd player, and it runs off of any 18volt Milwaukee battery, so it's rechargeable. Milwaukee has a website if you wanna check it out. And I work for a dealer if anyone can't find one near them. But this is not a sales pitch (actually I work in the warehouse, so I'm not on a comission or anything), if there's one around you, check it out.

The Milwaukee radio is nice but no 12volt car adapter At $127.00 without batts its not what I'm wanting.I can buy a lot of batts for my boomboxes for that price. The batt for this radio + charger is not cheap. It may have a built in charger? No 12 volt cig plug,no sale. Thanks for the reply though. Brushog
