help me with my P-650

Default help me with my P-650

today when i started up my P-650 i was lettin it warm up for bout 10 mins cause it dont run in this cold very well and when i got on it and put it in gear the oil light was flashing and it never has before after it started... anyone kno why this is doing this. i check my oil all the time and it always at the same spot at the very top of the xes on the dip stick still under the high mark... any help would be nice!!!

could be an oil pump failure

how about the viscosity? too high is very hard to pump in very cold weather.
how long has it been since an oil change? Old oil gets thicker as it wears out.

it is in need of a oil change and i dont kno what was used last but its out side in the cold all the time.. i hope that its just in need of a change... if i bring it in side and let it warm in there over night you think itll be ok.. cause i just want to get thou winter before i change it cause i need to plow alot! thanks.. oh if it is a oil pump how much are they

I have no idea about an oil pump. never had to buy one.

If you have summer weight oil in it, and it is old, I will bet that is the problem.
Change your oil asap, and put in the lightest weight Kawi recommends.
If it is as cold in NY as it is here, you oil is probably as thick as glue.

I change oil in my quads 4 times a year, minimum.

yea thanks alot .. ill get to that this prolly soon as i get some oil.. it does has summer weight oil in it and its been like at the most 10 degrees to -20 degrees here mostly in the 0s-5s aint too cold but for here it is again thanks!

sometimes in cold weather the sensor can malfunction... I WOULD TAKE IT SERSIOUSLY AND DON'T RUN YOU MACHINE UNTIL IT's FIXED. My oil pump failed back in september... covered under extended warrenty.
