I have a hard time believing the cam timing is off. How does it sound when you crank the motor? Any popping or trying to start? Does it backfire, or struggle to turn over?
If you have good compression, chances are, the cam timing is good. You have spark and fuel is getting to the carb? Is the gas one year old too? Fresh gas would help alot.
Did you read the troubleshooting article?
Tried to have someone pull/push start you?
You said you rebuilt the carb, then you said its spittin gas out the intake. Are you sure everything got put back together correctly when you rebuilt the carb?
Keep trying, youll get it going.

Only 2 reasons it's spitting gas out of the carb, incorrect cam timing, or a bent intake valve.

The carb spittin gas out bothers me too, but he said he had good compression. I would expect there would be backfiring thru the carb too.
Jeeptaz, have you checked the valve clearance? Can you get the side covers off, and check the cam/crank timing?

hey guys good news, it started!!!! i took the gas tank off and drained it and put in fresh gas and then i took the carb off and cleaned it again. then i pulled started it and it ran. the reason for doing all of that is cuz i took the carb off and put gas right in the engine and pulled it and it fired up so i figured it was the gas or the carb was dirty again. now the problem i am having is the gas line leaks and the fuel pump don't shut off and the carb is leaking gas. once i replace that it should be ok. then all i need is hte brakes hooked up and the shifter and rod replaced and i will be off riding. thanks alot for all of you help. oh i am still have a problem with the electric start button i push it and nothing but if i jump it in the back near the battery it starts.
well thanks guys again
