Default V Owners-can you check?

I'm putting my V back together from a good check over and clean up, and I was doing some measuring. From the rear of my front wheel to the front of my rear wheel, there was a 1" difference from my right side compared to the left. My A-arms look straight and I have never hit them. But to be a inch off, it would seem like I would be able to see something bent, but I can't. So for those who have a V, could you measure yours. I would like to know if this is common, or is mine bent somewhere.

I wouldn't think that would be normal. I'd look around the frame to see if any paint was flaking off, meaning stress, meaning bent. Let us know.

That don't sound good.. After I crashed mine I measured from rim edge to rim edge, and mine was within an 1/8" which I thought was ok considering how I measured. Try taking the wheels off and measuring to the center of your hubs.

Check your alignment. If one wheel is toed out or in more than the other. If the left is in 1/2" and the right is out 1/2" you will be out the sum .

I measured every different way you can measure, and I still come up with a inch difference. There is no rust or paint flakeing on the frame. The only place where the paint came off, is the bottom bolt bracket for the bumper. It got pushed in from a stump. It's got me puzzeled. It's still rides great, and the handeling still feels the same. I'm going to go over it more tommorow. I have ways to fix it.

I just measured mine real quick, and they were equal... it was 40" rim to rim
(rear of the front rim and front of the rear rim)
