650/700 hmf pipe and dg snorkel jetting
#1
I have a dg snorkel and just purchased the hmf pipe half system and was wondering if the jetting recomendations of putting the rear jet in the front carb and replacing the rear with a 143 main jet / 3.5 turns out on air fule screw works well . I live at sea level but will be ridding in the mountains as well.It just seems like the hmf recomendations are a bit lean and also don't account for the snorkel I would appreciate any sugestions or combos others have tried .
thanks

moving the 142 jet to the front and replacing the rear with a 145 is a safe place to start. If it's a little lean then go to a 145 front 148 rear. Or just leave your stock jetting along and go with a dial-a-jet. Dial-a-Jet information
good luck

BTW.........don't even fool with DYNOJET jet kits. The prairies are difficult to get tuned properly with DynoJet jets. Just forget they exist!!!

cartman I put in a dynojet kit here a while back and your right it has run a little rich. I also read a little about them sence then. I ordered a 145 for the rear but was thinking of just leaveing the needles in. What your opion like black bear i live at sea level also. Macon ga.
