HELLO Rick... welcome... seen your pics, you should have been here a long time ago... Me, I'm Mike... I thought I was strong enough to only try it once ( & I didn't inhale either...LOL )... mine was stock for about 8-9 months... now I couldn't even list all of the mods on one sheet of paper... I'd forget something like the twist throttle, or some other numorous mod... notice I can't list them all im my sig... I think my local aluminum fabricator qualifies an an enabler...LOL

I'm a mod head. I had a 400EX that I had $15,700 into, including the cost of the quad.

Two weeks before I got my V Force, I went to the dealership to buy a new spark plug for my 2000 Kodiak. I ended up coming home with a new sparkplug, but it just happened to be in the motor of a brand new '04 Suzuki Vinson. I promised myself I was done spending money on quads. Unfortunately, two weks had passed, and I needed an oil filter for my Vinson. I figured I would check out the new Honda R anyway, if they had one. They didn't have an R, but they did have a new V Force sitting on the floor. I had never seen one in person, let alone sat on one. The minute my butt hit the seat, I knew what was gonna happen. So back to the house to grab my trailer. As I'm hooking the trailer up, my girlfriend is leaning out of the house, and asking "what'd you buy now, did you buy another quad". Act like you don't hear them, and they usually go away, which she did.

So I bring the new V home, and she's standing at the door, shaking her head. I promised myself that this quad was staying stock. But then you start leafing through magazines and catalogs. Before you know it, the UPS guy is stopping in front of your house daily. The ol lady is like "your best friend is here".

Next thing you know, you've got new Elkas, a Yoshimura exhaust, an IMS tank, bumper, skids, new tie rods, race rims complete with Razrs, snorkels. You know the drill.

I think I'll leave my next quad stock.

Yes, I have this "friend" that is having the same problem.........what do you recommend for "him". I think "his" wife is on to "him" now. I keep ordering stuff.......whoops did I say I, I meant "he" keeps ordering stuff and I think "he's" addicted now. Should "he" get some help at this point or has "he" gone too far onto the dark side that "he" has no chance anymore??

Well,If spending over 3500 on your quad in a one shopping spree is an addiction then I am in..Lets see baja's with razr 2's,DMC exaust, trailtech speedo, clamp with holder for speedo,my kill switch, tag 2's,grips,Oh yeah and that track kit..Man she is still givin me crap over that purchase...Hey! I did part with snowmobile to get all this stuff so it was kind of a trade....Still need elkas..I dont know how to pull this one off...Although after I bought this stuff a friend of mine was unloading his 01 DS 650 for 3500 bucks...So I bought that also..could always use a back up...I told the wife it was for her so we could all ride as a family...She didnt flintch so I bought it for her for valintines day, at least thats what I told her..
Still I dont consider this a problem..Ok ok who am I sh!ttin.....MY NAME IS RICK I HAVE BEEN ADDICTED TO QUADS FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW..

When you have to lie cheat or steal from your family members to get what you want out of them there is a big problem..But,I am happy..
For now..
