Default KevinM (or anyone else who might know)......you out there, I have a question.

Kevin (or any one else who might know), on your V-Force page you show the radiator hose "coolers" and say to install one on EACH of your hoses. I installed the one cooler on the lower hose (as seen on your site) but I wanted clarification on the SECOND hose. Under the airbox there is actually 2 more radiator hoses.....a long one and a short one. I'm thinking the second cooler should go on the LONGER of the two hoses under the airbox but wanted to make sure my thinking is correct. Also, after both coolers are installed is there any "bleeding" of the radiator lines that needs to be done? As expected, a lot of the coolant drains out when you cut the hoses.....do I just re-fill the radiator with what drained out or is there any "priming" that needs to be done with the cooling system before I start the quad up? Any input would be great, THANKS!!

Mark you can install one on that upper hose but do not know if it will really be worth the effort. See every time you cut the hose and use clamps you increase the chance of a leak by two (one for each clamp). The installation of the cooler way up on that upper hose will probably not help much since the air circulation up there is far less than down by left lower side. As far as coolant you should refill and can start the machine up with the cap off and allow to run for a few moments you should see the coolant begin to circulate at this point you can add more if necessary or just put the cap back on. Be careful the coolant will get real hot! Good luck and this is just my two cents so take it foir what it is, hope I helped.

Have not done this mod yet but! I would say to put a cooler on the inlet and outlet hose's of the radiator...As far as coolent level goes,
If it were me...Start the quad with the coolent cover off let idle for a min then top of coolent you might want to add a little to overflow bottle if need be...

then hurry up and finnish putting it back togeather so you can ride.....

Both hoses under the left side of the airbox are return hoses, one for each cylinder.
