I had some dings down near the shaft on one of my driven pulley sheaves. Manual says replace it ($300 for half a pulley), mechanic said not necessary when I showed it to him. I don't know any better so I sanded the whole face of the pulley with 600 grit wet paper. Felt smooth to me after. Squeals at idle, but I know it's a little tight.

Did I blow it?

 

Squeal at idle my guess would be its too loose?

 

The belt is a little tight, that's okay. As long as the clutches seem to shift correctly you should have no problem.
