this is my first post . so hang in there. not very good at typing. anyway i am from texas i have a 03 p700 i used to own polaris 700 got rid of it to many problems ( sorry about that polaris lovers) kinda doubt that any of them would be on this forum anyway. more than pleased with the p700 . the only mod that i have done is the holeshot mod. and i thought i was worth every penny. i have been reading these post for awhile . they have answered alot of my questions in the past . learned alot from them also. been reading alot about this new (cdi) dont know exactly to make of it. i guess what i would like to know is what it would do for a stock p700 bike. or is it more for the heavly moded bikes.

Welcome hammer
the prairie 700 is a great bike. I changed the springs in my clutch for my driving style and a little more durability. The holeshot is nice, the CDI is coming out but it will have more benifits but it will be alot more than holeshot. The CDI will not be for everyone lots of people are happy with stock and/or holeshot. You might want to do something with those tires. And yes polaris riders are here even on a Kawi page because so many users use the "Today's Topics" and you see all posts.
enjoy

thanks for info kawi650. i forgot to mention that i did keep the stock tires off of the polaris 700 (goodyear rawhides) and put them on my p700. they are a pretty good tire for 25"s. i hope that the cdi does what they say it will. i ride with about 5 or 6 guys on the weekends all of them have p650 s except one . and i always like to keep the upper hand if you know what i mean. if any mod keeps me out front i am buying it.
