Default V-Force questions from a potential buyer

Does the v-force suffer from the premature limp-mode problem that the cat 650 does?? Does it happen to the prairie700??
I'm going to purchase soon and I have narrowed it down to the v-force or praire. I was convinced on the cat but that limp mode problem they've been having has turned me away. How much faster is the v-force than the prairie and can the v-force handle itself in deep mud??
Thanks for the help

I have not heard of anyone having problems with the "Limp Mode" on the V. As far as speed goes, the V is lighter and therefore faster. If you are into running through Deep, Nasty Mud, then the 4X4 is always going to be the better choice. Howerver, as far as the V is concerned, I ride a lot of trails, including some fairly thick mud and standing water, and I have yet to get stuck. It is as good of a 2WD trail quad as you will find.

Can't really tell you much on the limp mode on the v force , I really dont think they are having that problem. As for the v being faster, yes alot faster. I just got my wife a v last week and even in the breakin pieriod i can tell it has more power than my 650. Every time i ride her's then get on mine it feels like there is something wrong with my prairie. Its all in my head but thats the difference in the two. As for mud the prairie will be better. Thats about all i can tell you at this point. But if you want to ride in mud and trails get the prairie its still fast but not near as fast as the v. If you are doing alot of sand and or river riding id go with the v force, or just do what i did and buy both

thanks for the help so far. When you say the v is good in mud, do you mean with the stock tires or aftermarket ones?

I have the stock Holeshots on it, and so far they work better than I ever thought they would. I even got into some red clay, and had no troubles at all, when just about everyone else (Except the 4X4's) got stuck.
