Hauling a P650
#1
Has anyone tried or seen a P650 stuffed in the back of an Avalanche? I'm thinking of getting some ramps but I'm not sure the Prairie will fit. Would be much more convenient than messing with the snowmobile trailer.

Won't fit;
Torn the plastic away from the foot rest just last Friday. It won't clear the lock down channel on the top, by about an inch....
Check out the bottom of my avalanche on my pic page.
Put it on top of the pannels.

I'm not sure if the P650 is bigger than my V if it is it surely won't fit. There are two pieces of platic that I had to remove to get my V to fit in the avalanche... if the tires were any bigger or if the quad was more than 1/2 inch wider I don't think it would fit at all. Of course the tailgate will not close (that's a given). If your dimensions are the same or smaller than a V you should be fine.. If your tires are bigger you may have a problem too .... good luck

I had an Avalanche, and got rid of it for that very reason. You can fit the Prairie if you remove the plastic raingutters, and then remove the supporting brackets for the 3 panels. But then you lose the ability to cover the bed. After loading my quad against the midgate a number of times, the midgate/window area developed a terrible squeak and rattle. I finally traded it for a Sierra Z71.
