I got beat up yesterday!!!!!!

Wow, the first good weather day in a month. I took my new yfz out to the track to start the break in time. The track has really goten beat up from people riding when it was wet. Anyway Im so used to riding my v-force on the track, you know soft suspension, automatic transmision. By the end of the day I felt like I got ran over! I have got such a huge learning curve to over come with this yfz. I cant shift turn or find the correct gear yet. I feel like such a begginner. I told all my friends what happened an they just laughed because they went through the same thing learning to ride.
Any suggestions, I know it will come it time, how do you guys shift with riding boots on? I have a new found respect for riders with 5 speed trans. I will say that this yfz will jump way higher and farther with less effort than my v-force does.

thats why i dont really like riding boots i actually wear a pair of military ridging boots. they still have the steel toe but are very flexible and do not fell like your wearing snow boots. they also offer good protection. they stopped the stik from going through my leg. its the kind of boot an artillery loader would wear.
