Default V Force Warning Labels

I just parked mine in the sun and let it get real warm, then peeled them slowly. Wiped the area down with WD-40 took what little glue was left right off. They look much better without the stickers.

Default V Force Warning Labels

Thanks to everybody for all the ideals on the warning labels, will attack that project tomorrow. I'm afraid I will have alot of questions regarding the V in the future, and am sure this forum will be as helpful as the Yamaha forum was for the Raptor. The V is for my wife, she's only ridden one time, at Winchester Bay dunes in Oregon for about an hour on a Polaris Scrambler 500 4x4 and really liked it. She wanted an automatic, so the V was the logical choice, (of course that means I get to ride it also)

Of course people were telling me, get her something smaller and with less power because she's a beginner, and I just laugh and tell them, might as well jump on the biggest horse in the stable, that way you don't have to trade up. I did that with my Raptor, it was my first quad and I have no regrets whatsoever.

Thanks Again

Hello,

I've removed the warning stickers with a rag soaked in lacquer thinner, just hold the soaked rg on the sticker for a few minutes and it peels right off, a quick rub with lacquer thinner soaked rag and the adhesive is gone, and I haven't had the plastic hurt on any of my quads by the thinner. I've done the hair dryer, heat gun, razor blade, and I've found the lacquer thinner works the best for me. Good luck with whatever method you chose.

There should have been one more warning label to remove from the V which says,

"Caution, unintentional grounding of the grabbar from out-of-control wheelies may break the plastic casing that holds the taillight".

I know this by witnessing TheBomjr's VForce slamming PowerJunkie onto the sand this past weekend. I think he might be a little more cautious around that pumpkin now!

Needmoretoys, we've probably been at St. Joe at the same times and didn't know it. We keep meeting more and more connection members down there. Seems that most of us are drag racers though. Don't hesitate to come by and say hello if you see us out there.

I just removed my stickers from my V yesterday. I held a hair dryer on them for about a minute, then slowly peeled them off. The only one that left glue residue was the sticker on the clutch housing. Mineral spirits took it off in about ten seconds.
