Not to starting a flame war.The 450r Honda is super fast,the big V700 I think had more mid power I would say imo.I gave it everything it had to hang with the little demon.Very even in the 300ft,the win goes to who every gets the good start and keeps it down.Honda did there homework on this one.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]Just raced for fun to see how the 450r ran.

 

Was this a bone stock 450r?

 

I also raced one when I went riding last weekend--a stock one I think. We probably raced 250 feet and it was pretty much neck-to-neck the whole time.

 

BONE STOCK,it was not a walk away for either one.

 

Yeah- that 450R is a nasty one! How's that 700 with the V- belt? I'd really prefer a manual clutch myself.

 

I let the guy and his buddy ride my KFX700 after we raced for a while.All they said is "I LIKED THAT".Very quick for 510lb. lead slid.Everytime I ride the 700 I realize why I bought it-KICKS A$$.

 

Yeah, I can't get my buddy to ever bring his out. I got to watch a few race this weekend and they sure looked fast.

 

Raced a stock one twice yesterday and beat it by a few bikes 300-400 ft. on pavement. They do look very nice and run great out of the box. When these are modded they should be pretty fast. I was running with front strapped and could easily get the holeshot. The guy had just bought it and couldn't launch it very well.
