I'm looking at getting a new quad. I've been looking at a kfx 400 and I have a friend with a z 400 who says go with the arctic cat. I have owned several KX's growing up so I'm partial to kawasaki. I guess my question is how reliable are the arctic cats vs. the kfx. Is it the same as the others but with different plastic? I'm pretty hard on my quads so I want one that can take some abuse! I mainly ride trails and MX with random trips to the sand. I love to jump and my polaris is way too heavy and I'm tired of breaking chains and sprockets!

Mechanically they are all the same. So just pick the one you like the best and you're good to go. For some reason the A/C is more expensive though.
I'm partial to the Kawi myself. Either way they're all very nice rides!
