Default keep or get rid of mojave

Im trying to decide if I should keep or get rid of the mojave. I want something faster like a 400ex or warrior. So i can sell my mojave and with another $1000 I can upgrade to a warrior or 400ex. Is there anything I can do to my mojave to keep up with a warrior/400ex? what about a kfx/z 400? How much would it cost for these upgrades to keep up? what would I all need? Thanks for any answers.

you can get a 370 big bore kit and high compression piston and the whole 9 yeards from CWR cycleworksracing.net...check it out he has a ton of aftermarket parts for the mojave and he can make you mojave really rip...youll be able to smoke a warrior and take a 400ex no problems...i was gonna sell my lakota but im just gonna put a ton of money into it in a few months...depending on how much your gonna get for you mojave...id just keep the mojave and dump a ton of money into it...

You can get a decently modded 2000 or 2001 400ex for $2500 or so now. Unless you do a-arms, +1 or +2 swinger, adjustable axle, and full aftermarket shocks your mojave will never handle as well as a 400ex. I would just cut your losses and move up to a z400 or 400ex instead of flushing it down the toilet on the mojave. Been there, done that. The mojave is a great beginner/trail quad but that's about it.....that's what it was built for. I still have mine, it's been dead reliable except for the kickstarter shredding some teeth and it's still fun but one day on a 400 or 450 and you won't look back. [/flamesuit on]
