I did the 4mm x 12mm first but I was not happy with only catching a couple threads in an aluminun carb body so I ordered the 4mm x 14mm

actully the only 2 that would be short are the bottem inside bolt on both carbs but they catch enough the rest catch about 5 threads so im comfertable running it that way.. to each their own..

ok i got the dg snorkel today, now i have to put it on, but i will say the carbon fiber is nice, but honestly it looks like the size of a radiator hose (lol), i hope it performs up to its hype.

Hey CRASHDOG, it may look the size of a radiator hose but no radiator hose will look that nice......trust me, I have the NAPA radiator hose on mine and I thank God I'll be covering it up with the plastic.....yuck! If you can post a picture when it's mounted, I'd like to check it out.

a word of caution to all.....use anti-sieze or blue thread lock to keep those steel screws from welding themselves in to the aluminum carb body.....if you dont you will eventually be learning the art of heli-coiling!

CRASHDOG, I'm on the fence also with the Dial-A-Jet set up. I think I'll end up getting it but not sure when..... I'm still saving for those Elkas.

I ,ve INSTALLED MY OWN VERSION of the napa hose and i was told to remove the main jet of the carb and move it to the front then instal a 145 main jet to the rear now my question is what size jet is in the front and if this is done where does a guy startoff on the settings of the carb I,VE also orderd a clutcht kit which I ,ve just received I,am mechanically inclined how hard can it be to change these spring my dealer told me about 1.5 hours at135 bucks and I told my self that that that money would be used in other parts not in labour cost also waiting for the dynatek module to come out how will this affect the response in the carb or will it need more jetting ac 650 owner
