Default oil filter question for ALL

I just ordered Scott's stainless steel oil filter. Been hearing good things about them from some hard core dirt bike riders that have been using them for over a year now......we'll see.

Let us know how you like that setup. I was looking at that option also. I like the looks of it.

Will do Eric.....I'll let you know how the filter works. NICE pictures by-the way! The picture with the caption "Here is my toy. Oh, also 2 of my bikes" had me LMAO.

The Purolater part #'s changed recently. I'll see if I have the #'s. YES the filter is the same for V-Force and P-650/700. If you have a steering damper on the 'Force, DO make sure that it doesn't foul the oil filter. The Pure-Ones are longer than stock. You engine will hold slightly more oil, too.

PUROLATOR CURRENT PART # L14610 (some times it has a "P" in front like this - PL14610)

PureONE features exclusive MICRONIC® Filtration media that traps even the smallest particles of dirt and grime before they get to your engine. Particles too small for conventional filters to catch. Which is why PureONE is the top ranked filter in SAE tests at keeping your oil pure. And why no other filter provides better protection for your engine.

Specifications

Relief Valve P.S.I.: 14-18
Height: 3.52
Threads: M20-1.5
Anti-Drain Back Valve: Yes
Type of Filter: Spin-on
O.D.: 2.69
$5.88

Where to buy or online at www.partsamerica.com

No, I do not work for Purolator... I quit my job and just ride

I might add to Rocket Joe's list of Purolater PLUS'S ,the fact that it has a good quality anti-drain back valve made of Viton rubber.
