Best Duel Exhaust?
#2
Sorry, Hit the send button before I asked my question.
Guys, what's your take on the best duel exhaust for the V-Force? I'm running the DMC Aliens and although I'm happy with them, I purchased them when they were about the only thing available. A good friend of mine is buying a new V and is asking me for some advice about exhaust. Thanks in advance for some info, take care, Putt

Man, after doing alittle research here and hearing what you guys are saying about the Muzzy's, I'm not only going to recommend this system to my friend, but sell my Alien duels and try a set of these myself. I'm a firm believer in a two into one with equel length head pipes. Anyone interested in a set of DMC Aliens coated with Jet-Hot Sterling finish? :-) Putt

2 into 1 designs, as well as cross over designs such as the yoshi, "allow both pulsating cylinders to help each other draw exhaust flow out" that's a quote from Dirt Wheels.
I think of it like race cars drafting off of each other, but I can't say I've thought through the physics of it to judge whether or not it makes sense. Those dirt wheels guys might just be full of crap, although I doubt the guys at Muzzys and CT Racing are full of crap as they have a track record of knowing what they're doing.
I do have a prediction... when all the votes are in and we know who has the best pipes for the V I bet it will be from a shop with V-twin experience, whether it's duals or 2 into 1 or crossover duals or whatever. In terms of single pipes for single cylinder quads, it's hard to bet against CT racing. When they put their mind and money on a problem, as they did with the Raptor, the results are just sick.
blah blah... rubber side down... blah blah
