Rear Shock on V-Force 700 question

Well, i met the guy at the airport..they recharge the shocks on the small planes with 700 to 800 lbs of nitrogen...according to him...anyway, he put a special tire gauge type thing on the resevoir shrader valve and sure enough measured 0 on the meter. He put in about 60 lbs and the rearend went up about 1 1 /2 inches and checked the pressure and then filled it to 150 psi...the bike rose up about another 1/2 inch or so, and $15 bucks and i was out the gate. Tried it when i got home and what a difference...at least to what im used to anyway. I really think someone let the nitrogen out of that rear shock. I keep it the way it is now, and then move up to some aftermarket shocks later...for now though just having 150psi of nitrogen in the shock has made a world of difference. He also told me, that technically i could have put air in it, and it would not have hurt. The only explanation he was able to give me about why to use nitrogen instead of air was its rate of expansion, and something about water in the air versus non in the nitrogen. Well anyway, we will see what happens from here.
