The Boon docker NOs system will not give you as much power as the 800 kit, if it did it would only be useable for 15 seconds then the motor gets to hot. I tried to go all NOs once and I had to remanufacture a new set of pistons to drop my compression not feasible for performance. I did however use the lower compression pistions with a blower along with Nos to achieve high horsepower although there was to much lag time on the bottom end. Above 3000 rpm it was interesting but straight NOs will not produce what the 800 kit will.

The Boondockers probably would not, But I would have to take that challenge using NOS or NX.

I have taken stock DS bikes and made 70hp with stock pstons. Heat is not my problem. Breaking the stock pistons is because they are brittle. I know the V-700 should make more being a twin.

NOS is only good for drag racing or short burst. The 800 kit would make the same power all the time.

Just think what a 800 with a NOS kit would do !

Alltoys could you use both,I have Mickey's 785 kit which is unbelievable fast, would Nos work with 11:1 compression or is that to high, boondockers says yes but I am sceptical. Also with out naming brands are you using dual exhaust or two into one, I have been using dual but I order a two into one.
Thanks

Sincity,
You can use Nos up to 15/1 compression you must watch out for detonation it can put a hole through your piston rather easy. Nos works better on a low compression piston as you can stuff more mixture into the chamber producing more power this extraordinary power is for short bursts. A 785 kit with low burst of NOs would be great for the 300 foot drag. I generate 82 HP with blower and NOs( fuel and NOs I think THEBOM refers to this as NX ) on a stock P700. I have to run a 2 stage system where first injection comes on at 8500 and the second at 9500. I have tried to inject more mixture at a lower rpm but produced to much detonation so I would believe a Boon Docker would work very well with a 785/800 kit only near the top end of the rpm cycle. I agree with what THEBOM says about NOs/NX it is good for short bursts I wonder what it would do with the 800 kit, HHHHHMMMMMMMmmmmm!!!!!!!

I guess the only real problem is it could be too fast.... If you do it and it's too fast we can give you ideas to slow it back down.

I know nothing about nos on a engine as small as a atv engine, but Imagine same factors apply. Make sure your not pre-detonating by corret jetting, right fuel, running too hot, timming, blah blah etc. I wonder if waiting for the vortex to come out with thier cdi to run nos so that you can retard your timming wouldnt be a bad idea. I too have been considering nos.
