Mickey, Have you had a chance to test the Muzzy and LTE pipes yet with the 800 kit? We are all waiting for these results, we would like you input on these two pipes, I still need to get one!!

I don't know about other CDIs but I just went down the rode with my new CDI and with a stock unit it would rev to 8000 rpms and with mine it was turning 8800 rpms and getting there sooner. This is on a bone stocker with about 10 min. on the motor(nothing like breaking it in slowly). It may rev higher but the air box keep filling up with oil and it starts to run bad.

I am waiting on LTE. I also got a Yoshi coming to try so I'm testing everything I can on my stocker first. I think this is the longest I ever had a stock motor in anything.

I should be receiving my muzzy today, I will go out this afternoon and get some stats with the hmf duals on and by tomorrow I should be able to get some stats with the muzzy. I haven't hit the rev limiter with the 785 kit but I've only rode wide open with the 24 inch paddles, top speed with the paddles was 68.9 mph on gps but that a very big paddle tire. I will put the nobbies on this afternoon and see what happens. Mickey if I get your CDI today or tomorrow it should make for an interesting weekend. I think I will let somebody else try the nos with 785 kit first, rod through the case sounds little expensive.
Mark.
PS thanks for the input guys,It was just a thought,I can see a little more research is required.

I don't think you will here the rev-limiter, I don't on my stocker it just stop going faster at 8000 rpms.

I believe your right Mickey, I just came in from my little test, there is a power line poll road close to my house, its level and smooth. The polls are .14 miles apart according to my GPS which is approximately 660 feet apart, from a standing start I hit 65.7 MPH. In the distance of three poles or .28 miles I reached75.5 and that was it, it wouldn't go any faster. On asphalt I reached 80.2 MPH. All information was gatherd using a Garmin Rhino 120 hand held GPS. The tires on my bike were the 22 inch ITP hole shots with the dual HMF exhaust, I'll try the Muzzy this weekend and let you know.
