I retracted my bid, and thanks you guys, but I gotta admit, I'm gonna keep an eye on this thing. I don't come hear to read about ebay scams. I come here to escape from the crappy world, and ONLY when it's not convenient for me to be out riding. (which works much better) If everyone (but me) knows about these scams, why doesn't ebay put a stop to it? I guess I still have too much faith in poeple. At least you guys got my back. Thanks a... thousand.

EBAY is to big to know about all the scams, that is why they count on people to notify them. Unfortunantly i hear it is hard to get thru to them with the scam notification. I do not bother looking on there anymore, I just watch my papers and listen to my friends if that know of something for sale that need or might need. AlaskaBoy.

...and before you guys figure me for a numbskull, I figured if it was in peices, for a thousand bucks, even without a motor I'd have taken it. But the fact that they can get away with sending you nothing at all, and there's no "post payment" protection for a buyer really annoys me. I just ordered a-arm guards and a skid plate from Rockymountain.com and I was really looking for a deal on other parts. Thanks again you guys. (note to self: no more shopping after midnight!) My father buys all this stuff for his Vette on ebay, never had a problem. The very 2nd item I bid on is a scam! Now I know for next time.
