04 700p

Default 04 700p

I have about 200 miles on my bike and about 14hrs, i was just wondering i can only get about 63 mph out of it is this normal? My buddie has a 03 650p and he claims it goes 68mph. Does anybody know how fast these go. Im new to kawa first one i owned. I was a polaris man but not no more i had a 700 sportsman what a pig.. Thanks for any info on this.. Default 04 700p

Bone stock on flat pavement with no head wind, my P700 hit 65mph. My brother's P650 will do the same but it takes a little longer to get there.

Big V Twin I was saying the same before my bike was taken to the shop for service and the dealers/mecanic explained me all the modification they had to do. Kawasaki made it like that in order not to do damage to the clutch/belt etc... while breaking it.

I'm no expert but sure that Guy's like Nyrocs and other would be glad to explain you the reasoning behing all that.

my 650 only went about 58mph until i got about 50hours on it now it tops out at 66mph
