how can i get better throttle response on the lakota sport because the throttle response ont het thing sucks

rejet it, get a new carb, adjust the throttle cable

better throttle response

Just like you do the clutch cable, tighten the screw until there is no play. The adjuster is right where the throttle cable goes into the throttle assembly on the handlebars.
