Flat spots go away after a few minutes of driving and flat spots are only really happen when its really cold. Cold, like snow on the ground, you can see your breath, your wearing ski pants, winters boots, skidoo helmet with heated visor cold.

I would guess that it is a toe in / out problem... if it started a few months ago, a bent tie rod could be the problem ( they bend quite easily )... if oneb is slightly bent, it throws you toe adjustment off, & it will act twitchy... check your toe, & if it's off quite aways, look at your tie rods... you can fix it temperarily by adjusting the toe with the tie rod ends....

I had very good luck with setting the toe IN to 1/4"TOTAL. 1/8" each side. Worked for me. It is quick and easy to do. Immobilize the handle bars in the straight ahead positon with tie-downs, then measure the leading, and trailing edges of the tires, and adjust the tie rods accordingly.
The tierods ARE very weak. You may have a bent one. Look at those first.

If you toe it out 1/4" it will handle much better than toe in. I did it to mine and it helped it a bunch.

Newbeatle-- Last June, I adjusted my 'Forces' toe with a rock! The tie rod got bent in a "U" shape 12 miles from my hauler! I removed the tie-rod, and took a rock to it. Got it close enough, that I rode another 3 hours!

TRX... that was creative... I used to Jeep, & you wouldn't believe all the trail fixes, for bent or broken parts, that I've seen over the years...LOL...

Yep, having ridden the dirt for(too many)years, I've a LOT if strange "fixes" out in the woods. Did I tell you about the time that I had to use vise-grips for a shifter on my Kaw Enduro bike, after snapping the lever off on a rock?BTW-- duct tape DOES fix everything........................................ ......

kfx700racer, can you describe what it feel's like? What kind of tires do you have? Have you wrecked it or hit anything with the front end? Have you looked at the wheels while your moving to see if they wobble? Most all ATV's that I have repaired toe out, check a service manual or call the shop. My 2 cents.
