Default Mojave fuel petcock

Bought an 87 mojave the petcock wouldnt turn at all without a pliers. Theres a addon shutoff thats down the fuel line thats used to shut off the fuel. It is on -off only no reserve. Well I WD40 the stock petcock and it loosened up, so it turns easily now. But I think I know now why the additional shutoff. The petcock doent work, it doesnt shut off the flow. Anyone have one thats good? Or anyone know the size I would need to mount an aftermarket in its place? Kawasaki prices are nuts. Also looking for a good thermostat, mines bad and previous owner hard wired so fans on all the time.

Thanks

The T-stat determins the operating temp.....Not the fan as long as your movin.

Wiring the fan to be on all the time won't make the bike run cooler. Sitting still or slow speeds then ya the fan is there to help kool the radiator.

I live in the desert and rarely does my fan come on. It only comes on if I climb a long hill slowly or comp hill @ Dumont.
