It sucks when your wife takes your credit card away cause ya spend too much on your quad. (is there such a thing). Then they come out with the CDI that is a must have upgrade. So whats a poor man to do. Copy the card number off the bill and order this CDI. YEAH!!!!! I want what i want and i will have it.

I think you guys are dreaming hoping you got one of the first 6... I ordered mine right after the email came, and scott said he thought all of the 6 were accounted for but he'd 'see what he could do'. That says to me they are all going to buddies or special cases that asked very early for this unit. Oh well, looks like we're all in the same waiting boat.... =]

 

I wouldn't worry to much. I believe he said the initial production run would be 250 units & he was going to push for another 250.

Didn't order through Scott, talked to the nice lady but I ordered mine an hour and a half after receiving the e-mail and she said I would one of the first to get one.

 

Pistons will not melt I have put mine through the ringer with a lot more timing and no adverse effects.

The top end speed is very hard to get it over 80 let alone 70. I wouldn't worry even 70 is fast. With your new clutch, motor modds you will be close to 80 if not better. There are other things that you will have to do to go faster believe me the bike is not made to handle the higher speeds( above 85 ). My next machine will have 1 - 2 feet added to the frame with other steering modds next year I will attempt another run. You will have to try jetting you may have to jet up with that behemoth of yours especially with the new cdi. I think your machine will be the one to beat you will be setting standards with it.

 

Definatley let us know when these are avialible for the V-force. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Just confirmed with Scott that the initial production run is 250. The initial 12 were pre-runs for cost analysis.
