On stock wheels or aftermarket ? Well 27" shouldnt really matter it will fit without spacers.

Default Tire clearance on 700p

on my 04 p700 I have 27" 10x12s on the front and 12x12s on the rear with c series wheels (1 inch wider offset) and I get a little rubbing on the front end on the plastic of the bumper at a full turn when I hit a bump. I would imagine on stock wheels the rubbing would be much worse. I'm not sure how the 26" would do.

26x10x12 on the front and 26x12x12 Mud Lites on stock wheels on mine with no problems. About 1 inch of clearance at the gas tank. HTH
