Mojave Low end power
A pipe and jet kit will not help much on the low end but are worth it for the mid and top you pickup. Dropping teeth on the rear is the wrong way for bottom also, it will make it worse. If you want more bottom go back to the 12 tooth frt. You will have more bottom but will loose top speed. It will wheelie easier too.

for more top end gear add a tooth to the front, drop teeth in the back, for more bottom end drop a tooth in the front add a tooth in the rear. no offense but if you are having problems with a wheelie change technique. i have a 13 tooth front sprocket and 20 inch tires in the back. i can get my front end up pretty easy, in first gear.

The lack of low end response is due to the stock CV carb. I've been meaning to try a pumper carb off a 400EX as I understand that it is a bolt on and brings out the snap but I haven't done it. There was a thread about converting to it but I could not find it using the search.
