100% absolutely yes it is more brittle. Totally different kind of plastic.

if you look on the other forums they all have people mad cuz there plastic breaks. the special ed plastic is the worse ever.. i'm sure glad i stuck the the Kawasaki green !!!

 

I thought of getting red plastic but after I rolled mine last weekend and all that happend was that the handle bars layed down and the key bent in the ignition. 2 minutes to fix!! The plastic was fine. If I had the red plastic both front and back fenders would be cut on half. I will stay with my orange beast

So far every thing that I have read, the green is the most durable. I have the orange one and its the biggest piece of crap that I have owned. It had a small roll over and all the back fender was busted all to hell, and it only had 15 hours on it!! I would like to kick the plastic right up Kawasaki A$$!!!!! I dont see why the after market company's wount make new plastic for them, knowing how much of a piece of crap that they are, they would be a hot seller!! Kawasaki should recall the crap!! Thats my 2 cents on it!!

 

My daughter's boyfreind has the green. He rolled it and every piece of plastic on it is broke, Even the piece around the breather and both headlights fell out. I used a wood burner to weld it all back together, looks pretty cool with all the scars on it.
