Default One last time: Sand Paddles for the V

I am looking for some Sand paddles and rims for my V. They will be used mostly for sand and some early winter snow. I hear that the tranny clanks a bit when you are going slow but not as much on the angled paddles like the Sandstars. I will have to run on some hard ground ( 1 or 2 miles) to get to the sand where I ride. I want to be able to turn fairly easy but still get good hookup.

I will be putting these paddles on their own rims as I will toggle back and forth between stock tire/rims and paddles for the winter then Ice screws in Wolly boogers and paddles in the summer.

Any recommendation will be appreciated

Thanks

Douglas makes a "special" wheel for the V and Skat Trac makes a "special" tire for the V. They can be bought as a kit from www.prowlers.net. The wheel is 11" wide and a .190 thickness. The tire is a 24x11x10 Extreme Hauler.

This set up is awsome in the sand. Because of the V's increadible torc The 24" is what makes it a great tire. Not sure if you can get This tire in a scat-trak V pattern(which would probably turn better than the straight blades of the haulers. but never the less, the 24" haulers are great. And do your self a big favor and put sand stars on the front. You will only notice the transmission clank when you coast on pavement.
