.... about the 1983 Kawi KLT 250 C Prairie I bought the other day. And a few other things if you ask my wife but... If any one has any specs, repair info, or literature like sales brochures I'd like to get some. I have to do some minor repairs and I have nowhere to start from.

Sounds like you picked you up a classic there. I don't think Kawasaki's online parts diagrams go back that far but you can try since those might be helpful. Your best bet is to get either a factory service manual or a Chiltons. You might look on Ebay for parts and manuals also.
