Default free/cheap mods t help improve performance...

is there any free/cheap mods to do to our 4strokes to get more power from them, like maybe tuning them,a lil diffently, or mess w/ the timin or somthing..

anything is acceptable

You have to satrt with a pipe, or slip on, air filter and jetting. You could shave 10 or 20 thousandths off the head to give it some more compression, but that will cost you a head gasket, and the cost of the machine work. There isn't a whole lot you can do to it that's free, except maybe ignition timing, and I don't know if it's adjustable on that model. Good luck[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

ah, alright, thanks for the tip. im trying to save up for a pipe and stuff for the mo, but i need to get my chevelle on the road, before i mod the quad.

Switch to a thinner synthetic oil. Thinner oil = less drag and being synthetic it will protect as well as a thicker dino oil.

My Mo runs much better on Syn oil. I can tell a difference between the syn and dino oil.

on my YFZ450 i retarded the exhaust timing and it added bottom end and mid-range power thats not really noticeable when just trail riding, but when you really get it going you notice a whole lot!

Default free/cheap mods t help improve performance...

remove the baffle from the exhaust pipe and drill some more holes in the muffler, take the airbox lid off and rejet.
