Default Tires or Springs

OK, let's say you are going to buy a new p700. And let's say you wanted to make it handle better out of the chute. And let's say you did not have the money to buy both Progressive springs and new Tires. What would you buy? Springs or tires?

If you choose tires, what tires would you choose? I am going to be riding 80% desert trail riding with 20% forest riding with some mud thrown in for good measure.

If you choose springs, what is the model number and where the heck do you find them? According to Progressive website, the model # for the p700 springs is 31-2006. I can't seem to find them anywhere on the 'net. Just the springs for the p400 and others.

TIA

Tires... no question... ATR's, Big Horns, or Bad Lands... all these tires are radials...
