Default Got some maintenance done and rejetted

Well Yesterday I went to replace my swingarm boot and rejet well once I got the swing arm off I realized that the swingarm bearings had gone bad so I ordered some new ones through napa. I then saw that my front right outer cv boot was torn so I found a dealership that had one in stock about two hours away so today I went and got the boot kit and my bearings came in from napa so I got it all back together and rejetted (142f/148r). Well anyways it definetly seems to run alot better now with the fatter jets although I may still shim the needles. I also noticed my front brakes are shot so I was thinking of ordering the tusk brake pads from rocky mountain atv. Does anyone have any experience with these? Also has anyone replaced their swingarm bearings with sealed bearings as the seal on the stock bearing is more of just a dust seal then anything and I can't imagine it does a good job of keeping water out of the bearing? Well sorry to drag on.

Later and thanks,
Seth

There are sealed bearings but they are not nearly as strong as the tapered roller bearings. Someone on another forum put them in though a few weeks ago and I guess they are still doing Ok. I redid mine last year and just plan on taking the bolts out and repacking them the best I can periodically.
