I am trying to get a good handle on jetting requirements of the new CDI. I have heard that it will take one size richer jets from a few sources.

1kawiluver, you might try upgrading to the 03 airbox.

I doubt that I will need any different bottom end jetting than I have with a DG module, since the timing is nearly identical down at low RPMs. I guess I will see sometime soon.

I used to turn my idle screws out almost as far as everyone else, but when I got the 03 airbox, I had to turn them in a little. That was weird. I gained 1mph with the 03 airbox, so I know it is less restrictive. I think the fact that I have the 03 airbox and the DG needles will prevent me from needing to increase my pilot jets.

Only time will tell. As more people get these CDIs, more people will let us know what they needed to do for jetting.

I am using OEM Vforce cams....until the Hot Cams releases there version. I had a Full Pro Circuit but now have a Full FMF PC-4 S/A. They are both quite loud. I'm going to try the T496 from PC as soon as it's released.

I'm really eager to try that CDI. I believe it will make the whole package come alive.

Clarification for the non-hockey fans: way back in "the day", the Montreal Canadiens were known as the Montreal Habitants, Habs for short.

vforcestan: What do you mean airbox changes and a GOOD pipe? I have been going back and forth between doing nyroc's exhaust mod or an aftermarket pipe. I hear pros and cons about all of them.
